5-Year Program Work Plan
Laguna Knowledgebase
The Foundation’s Program Work Plan was first developed in 2007 to define and prioritize planned efforts in each of our program areas out to a three-year horizon, so we can plan and organize the resources needed to support them. The Work Plan is a direct outgrowth of the Restoration and Management Plan (RMP) and other internal program and strategic planning efforts involving our board, staff and community volunteers. Projects in the plan were selected based on how well they advance the specific goals of our programs, each of which is an element of the Foundation’s mission.
The Work Plan is an ambitious but achievable set of activities which will advance the public awareness, biodiversity, water quality, and flood control capacity of the Laguna, as well as our degree of working knowledge about its systems and resident species, and will frame our fundraising, volunteer development and organizational collaboration efforts going forward.
The Foundation’s Program Work Plan is currently being updated and the latest version will be posted this spring. Please revisit this page to download an Executive Summary in May of 2009.
